The Tennessee Turfgrass Association (TTA) and Tennessee Golf Course Superintendents Association (TGCSA) have announced the addition of Christy Rose as Membership & Events Coordinator.
Rose recently relocated to Franklin, Tennessee, from Overland Park, Kansas, where she taught English and History in the Special Education Department. She holds a master’s degree in education and brings experience in relationship-building, organization and member engagement.
Rose and her husband, Pat Rose, superintendent at Belle Meade Country Club, are returning to the Tennessee golf and turfgrass community. In her new role, she will support membership services and coordinate events for both associations.
“We are thrilled to welcome Christy to our team,” said Melissa Martin, executive director of the TGCSA and TTA. “Her enthusiasm, organizational skills and passion for serving others make her an excellent fit for our associations. I am excited about the energy and ideas she brings, and I know our members will enjoy getting to know and working with her.”
Rose said she looks forward to connecting with members and supporting the mission of both organizations. Members can reach her at christy@ttaonline.org.
The Tennessee Turfgrass Association serves professionals involved in the management and maintenance of turfgrass throughout the state, while the Tennessee Golf Course Superintendents Association supports golf course management professionals through education, advocacy and professional development.
