Echo and Shindaiwa are now the preferred brands of handheld and specialty equipment at more than 1,100 Kubota Tractor sales and service dealers nationwide, according to a mid-February announcement. Seeking to grow their combined sales within both commercial and consumer lawn and garden equipment markets, officials with the two companies say there’s plenty of upside in the two suppliers working together.
“These brands are well known in the market, and they allow Kubota dealers to position a complete lineup of products to commercial landscapers and homeowners alike,” says Todd Stucke, Kubota Vice President of Agriculture and Turf Equipment. The agreement also names Echo Bear Cat as a preferred brand of chippers, shredders, log splitters, and wheeled trimmers within the Kubota dealer network.
A series of joint sales and marketing programs will be rolled out this year, at which time Kubota dealers can begin expanding their customer product offerings to include Echo, Shindaiwa and Echo Bear Cat products.
