Bobby Jones Links adds Public Golf Club in Tennessee to Growing Portfolio

King’s Creek Golf Club

Atlanta-based club management company, Bobby Jones Links, has been selected by Nathan and Joel Lyons, local real estate developers, to provide club management services to King’s Creek Golf Club, a public golf club just south of Nashville in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

King’s Creek Golf Club opened in 2006 and features an 18-hole championship layout designed by golf icon Arnold Palmer. The club also features golf lessons, a golf shop, and practice facilities.  While the club is currently closed for renovations, new features upon opening will include enhanced bunkers designed by Tennessee-local and course architect, Jerry Lemons of Golf Links, as well as newly renovated TifEagle Bermuda greens.

Twin brothers and Nashville developers, Nathan and Joel Lyons, formally purchased the 165-acre course in mid-July with big plans to change the course for the better. Under the name of Nathan’s Vintage South Development Inc., the two brothers plan to overhaul and rebrand the course to create an upscale recreation and entertainment venue for the whole family. While the scope of these renovations and rebrand is being finalized, the enhancements to the facility and the revitalized identity of the club will create an unforgettable experience for guests. The pair is hopeful that the work will be completed close to the end of 2021.

“We are thrilled to be working with Bobby Jones Links to bring King’s Creek to its fullest potential,” said Nathan Lyons, co-owner of King’s Creek. “We want to make this a course that is comfortable and enjoyable for every level of player, and with the Bobby Jones Links’ involvement we are confident that this will be one of the premier public golf courses in Middle Tennessee.”

Bobby Jones Links will be managing the day to day operations of the golf club and of the overall facility. Bobby Jones Links will also assist in overseeing the upcoming renovations, with the help of the owners, to impact decisions that affect the overall operation and functionality of the property.

“Our role at King’s Creek is to help bring the vision that the new owners have to life, and to create an enhanced experience for players after the reopening in November,” said Steve Willy, co-founder of Bobby Jones Links. “We are excited to be selected for this project and can’t wait to assist Nathan and Joel in debuting the new King’s Creek Golf Club.”

King’s Creek will be open for play in November, following completion of the first round of enhancements and renovations. Nathan and Joel are hopeful to begin breaking ground on the next set of renovations in January of 2021.

King’s Creek is the 7th club to join Bobby Jones Links growing portfolio in 2020. For more information on King’s Creek Golf Club, please visit https://www.kingscreekgolf.com/.
