Arborjet | Ecologel, a leader in plant health, is pleased to announce the following new hires.

Evan Sorger from Medford, Massachusetts has been hired as the new Research Associate and Lab Technician. He will assist in all aspects of executing experiments in the lab, help perform formulations, and aid in various bioassay projects both locally and abroad. 

Sorger says that he’s always been passionate about the outdoors and has been looking for a way to get more involved within the industry. “I’d like to help mitigate the various external risks that face native flora every day. Arborjet seems to have an influential role in this important industry, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the organization.” 

His past experience includes hazardous waste management and inventory coordination in the cannabis industry. Sorger attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a BS in Environmental Science.

Ryan Mason, from Easton, Pennsylvania has been appointed as Regional Technical Manager for the Mid-Atlantic. He has 20 plus years of experience in turf and ornamental management, as well as sales, and business development. “I’m excited to bring my knowledge and skills to the Arborjet | Ecologel team, specifically to further the company’s growth in the field of turf management.”

Mason is a licensed pesticide applicator, certified to spray turf, ornamental, and right of way areas. He is also a NALP certified turf technician, a member of the NJ Turfgrass Association, and a LCAP Board Member.
