August 3, 2015 – Integrity Golf has announced it expanded its portfolio with the addition of Raven Rock Golf Course in Jenkins, Ky. The lease agreement, effective Aug. 1, represents Integrity Golf’s second course in Kentucky. Orlando-based Integrity Golf now has 34 golf facilities in six states (Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina).
Raven Rock is owned by TECO Coal and known for being one of Kentucky’s first golf course reclamation projects. Built on a former strip mining site, Raven Rock features striking elevations that reach nearly 3,000 feet around the dramatic quarry.
Paul Fleming, the property’s longtime golf professional and general manager, has been retained by Integrity Golf and will continue to run the 18-hole facility. Fleming started his full-time career at the par-70, 6,303-yard public course in 2007 when he was named assistant pro. He was promoted to head professional in 2011.
“The future looks real exciting with a golf company like Integrity Golf now in charge,” Fleming said. “I can’t wait to start sharing the Integrity Golf network with our golfers and community.”
Integrity Golf Company President/CEO Gene Garrote is looking forward to making further inroads to the Kentucky golf market with this latest Eastern Kentucky golf course acquisition.
“We look forward to partnering with the Raven Rock ownership and the surrounding community,” Garrote said. “We’re eager to start sharing our national expertise and complementing everybody’s ongoing efforts and stewardship with this notable property. We’re excited about the future viability of Raven Rock.”
