Tubbs brings extensive finance and marketing experience to Toro’s commercial business
Toro announces the appointment of Josh Tubbs as the new senior marketing manager, golf products for the commercial business. Tubbs brings more than a decade of experience in finance and marketing to the company.
In this role, Tubbs will be responsible for leading the golf segment’s product marketing efforts, including but not limited to:
- Developing and implementing launch plans for new products
- Engaging in extensive market research
- Identifying equipment needs in the golf industry and providing recommendations on how to best fill those needs
- Establishing long-range strategic plans for Toro’s extensive suite of golf maintenance equipment
Prior to joining Toro, Tubbs spent 10 years at General Mills, working on household names like Cheerios, Betty Crocker and Old El Paso salsa. Most recently, he held the position of brand manager for Chilly Cow Ice Cream, a division of Wells Enterprises, where he helped establish the brand’s identity and led the launch into the North American marketplace.
Tubbs holds bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a master’s of business administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Tubbs is also an avid golfer and looks forward to attending his first Golf Industry Show in San Diego, California, in February of 2019. The official start date for Tubbs was November 12, 2018.
