Gold Hill Country Club

Troon®, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, has announced that it has been selected to manage Gold Hill Country Club, an all-new golf club situated just one hour from Seoul, South Korea’s capital.

The long-term agreement will see the brand-new golf club become an official Troon Golf Facility, with Troon International providing market leading support in a range of areas, including, Development and Pre-Opening Services, Post-Opening Agronomy, Marketing and Operations Services.

Set to commence with a soft opening in the coming months, followed by a grand opening by the end of 2024, Gold Hill Country Club promises to deliver an exceptional new experience to a domestic market that celebrates golf like almost no other.

The 2023 R&A Global Golf Participation Report highlighted South Korea’s significant presence in the global golf community. Ranked third in the world for the total number of golfers, with a substantial 5.35 million enthusiasts, South Korea also boasts the highest proportion of female golfers globally, topping the chart at an impressive 45%.

A fully floodlit course at Gold Hill Country Club will offer even further opportunities for South Korean golfers to engage with the sport, allowing for participation far beyond sunset, and attracting a broader range of visitors to the course as a result.

Under the esteemed ownership of The Ramid Group, Gold Hill Country Club has ambitious plans to establish itself amongst an already vibrant South Korean golf landscape, and with the trusted expertise of Troon International on board, they are primed to do just that.
