BESTSAND Adds New Jersey Production for Bunker Sand

Golf courses and other users of top-quality sports sand in the Eastern U.S. will soon have a new option to source BESTSAND products including high-demand brands like Pro/Angle and Signature bunker sands.

By mid-2027, Covia Corporation will begin producing and shipping the popular BESTSAND Pro/Angle and Signature 900 brands from its plant in Dividing Creek, N.J. “We wanted to simplify the sourcing process for our customers on the east coast so we’re adding this new production capability to our plant at Dividing Creek,” said Joel Eaton, director of sales for specialty products.

The goal was to make it easier to supply and ship these key bunker sands without sacrificing quality. “It’s the same quality and consistency that you’d get from our Ohio plants, but the logistics are now simpler for many customers,” said Eaton.

Service and support for BESTSAND products won’t change either. “We invested in adding new capabilities at the Dividing Creek plant because we’re committed to this market and to strengthening our brand in the eastern region,” added Eaton.
