As part of its continued expansion, Arborjet | Ecologel, leaders in plant health and water management, announce new hires in both regulatory affairs and in their marketing division.
Nick Millen has been hired as Regulatory Affairs Specialist and has been in the green industry for most of his life. Immediately prior to Arborjet, Millen was part of the original class of investigators for the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission. As a Commission Investigator, he assisted with and led licensing inspections, and helped expand the list of pesticides for which all adult-use and medical-use Cannabis are screened. He also assisted with various investigations, consumer and constituent complaints, and monitored over fifty Commission-licensed adult-use establishments.
His experience includes working for an MA-based turf care and pest control company as a customer-facing commercial applicator. Applications included ant, mosquito, tick, vegetation control, and fertilizers. Additionally, he worked for a large horticultural supplier as a section grower, overseeing approximately 100,000+ square feet of greenhouse space. Millen has held a MA pesticide license from 2011-2020 and received a B.S. in Plant Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
Josh Bruckner will take on the new role of Content Marketing Specialist. Bruckner will utilize his experience in the invasive pest and ecology field to craft Arborjet’s outreach emails, marketing collateral, company literature, and webinars. He previously worked at the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources for over five years, helping with statewide outreach concerning invasive forest pests.
Bruckner has always had an interest in nature and ecology. In college, he honed his interest in biology into conserving natural resources and studying invasive species. He has a Master of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Environmental and Conservation Biology, both from Clark University.
