August 17, 2015 – Underhill International has posted a Quick Selection Guide on its website featuring the company’s extensive line of golf course wetting agents/surfactants.
The guide can be seen at www.underhill.us and is designed to quickly assist superintendents in selecting the appropriate wetting agent for specific hydrophobic turf conditions.
Underhill offers a complete line of nationally-known wetting agents that prevent and cure localized dry spots, including Tournament-Ready, Medalist, H20 Maximizer, Tournament-Ready Plus with Actosol and more. The wetting agents facilitate water movement to root zones in water-resistant soils, reducing hand watering and improving irrigation coverage.
Both Underhill liquid and pellet products are shown on the chart, which pinpoints the proper wetting agent/surfactant for greens, tees, approaches, fairways, roughs, bunker facings, and new sod and seeding areas.
The Underhill website also offers a Free Wetting Agent Test Drive program in which golf course superintendents can request a free wetting agent sample to try on their course.
