September 17, 2015 – The Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia announced recently that Curt Walloch has been appointed to the position of golf course superintendent. Walloch brings more than 17 years of experience to his new post where he will be responsible for the overall condition of the 18-hole golf course and surrounding grounds.
Walloch comes to Vistancia after spending nearly two years as the assistant superintendent for Paradise Valley Country Club where he was responsible for daily operations of the 30-person staff, and, most notably, oversaw an impressive golf course renovation project undertaken by the famed design team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw that included refurbishing of the greens, tees, fairways and bunkers.
Walloch’s new position marks a homecoming of sorts, as he was a landscape superintendent for BlueStar Resort & Golf – management firm for Trilogy at Vistancia – from 2010 to 2011. During that time, he directed all daily operations such as purchasing, budgeting, agronomic decisions and communication with HOA community managers.
