The Club at Savannah Quarters Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The Club at Savannah Quarters is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2021 with a series of events and celebrations. Events marking the club’s platinum anniversary have already included a Lowcountry boil for club members and a fireworks show.

The first round of golf was played at Savannah Quarters on June 2, 2001. In 2006, an 18-hole Greg Norman Signature Course opened for play replacing the original golf course on property. Today, the Club at Savannah Quarters’ Norman Signature Course is the quintessential southern golf course. Playable year-round and voted “Best Golf Course in Savannah” by Savannah Morning News, the picturesque 7,066-yard, the par-72 course weaves through lagoons, natural areas, and groves of towering cypress and live oak trees. The signature 15th hole offers a unique island green overlooking a peaceful lagoon.

“Savannah Quarters has stood the test of time, as it was one of my first courses in the Lowcountry,” said course designer and World Golf Hall of Fame member Greg Norman. “I was thrilled to have the opportunity to go back in the last couple of years to enhance the course, and I can proudly say not much was required other than a basic facelift of bunkers to help in overall maintenance cost and create more long-term sustainability. To this day, we still consistently get tremendous feedback from both the members and club, which is always our ultimate goal.”
