The Club at Olde Cypress Ourtood Bar and Terrace Clubhouse
The Club at Olde Cypress, one of the most vibrant, active and welcoming private clubs in Southwest Fla., will undergo a transformative clubhouse renovation project beginning in spring of 2025, club owner STOCK Development announced.
When the multi-million-dollar endeavor concludes in January 2026, the 34,000-square-foot clubhouse, one of the private club’s centerpiece amenities, will boast an additional 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, redefining the dining and social scene for members.
“The clubhouse is the social pulse of our community, and this project will ensure it continues to be the place for our members to gather – whether they are having drink on the patio or they want to enjoy a fine dining experience – long into the future,” said Claudine Léger-Wetzel, STOCK Development’s vice president of sales and marketing. “The project reflects STOCK Development’s dedication to maintaining the exceptional standards members of The Club at Olde Cypress have long enjoyed.”
Among the many highlights of the project are:
Olde Cypress’ stunning P.B. Dye designed golf course will remain open throughout the project, as will the racquet sports and various social activities that are at the heart of the club’s popularity.
The clubhouse project will come on the heels of a 2021 golf course renovation that earned rave reviews. Among the highlights of the golf course project were the resurfacing of all 18 greens, practice green and chipping area with TifEagle Bermuda; enlarging, leveling and re-grassing tee boxes; installation of a new subsurface drainage system for rapid expulsion of excess water and new high-performance, artificial turf stations on the driving range for use when the grass tees are closed.
