Syngenta launches GreenCast Connect: the future of digital agronomy in the palm of your hand

Syngenta, a global leader in agricultural innovation, announced today the launch of GreenCast® Connect, a cutting-edge mobile app designed to enhance the way turf and landscape professionals manage their operations. With its advanced features and real-time insights, the app aims to streamline decision-making, optimize resource use, and help managers meet the highest standards of quality.

GreenCast Connect offers three levels of access. The free Basic tier features site-specific weather and pest alert tools including the Smith-Kerns dollar spot model. The Advanced tier paid version includes enhanced pest alerts and Growing Degree Day (GDD) trackers, and the Pro tier integrates seamlessly with Spiio™ soil sensors to provide a comprehensive, all-in-one digital agronomy solution.

The app’s customizable dashboard ensures that essential data, predictions and recommendations are always at users’ fingertips.

“GreenCast Connect represents a significant leap forward in digital agronomy,” said Steve Dorer, head of Syngenta Digital Platforms. “By putting powerful, real-time data and analytics directly into the hands of turf professionals, we’re enabling enhanced decision-making and more efficient resource management.”

Key features of GreenCast Connect include:

  • Forecasting: Accurate, GPS-based predictions for weather, pest activity, turf growth and soil conditions
  • Alerting: Customizable notifications for severe weather events, pest risks and changes in soil conditions
  • Tracking: Advanced models to monitor and predict risks from diseases, weeds and insects
