Syngenta Launches Food Truck Tour to Fuel Superintendents and Their Crews

  • New Posterity® fungicide delivers long-lasting, powerful protection as the most active SDHI in the turf market
  • Tour will visit golf courses across the country to fuel long working days for turf maintenance crews
  • About 40 golf courses will be visited within four weeks, beginning Sept. 24

GREENSBORO, N.C., USA, Sept. 21, 2018 – Syngenta is excited to continue the launch of Posterity® fungicide with a tour across the country from Sept. 24-Oct. 19 to show appreciation for golf course superintendents and their crews who continually work long days to produce top-quality turf. Syngenta understands the long hours and stress these teams can face conditioning golf courses. The tour will provide not only food to fuel their long days but also feature new solutions that offer long-lasting control of dollar spot and other diseases.

“We know our customers are dedicated to maintaining quality turf and that requires dedication beyond the average work schedule,” said Stephanie Schwenke, turf market manager at Syngenta. “In turn those customers fuel our drive to provide innovative solutions like new Posterity fungicide, so we are delighted to recognize their commitment and performance.”

Dollar spot is one of the most prevalent diseases across the country and 43 percent of golf course superintendents have said they would like a better solution to control it1. To respond to this need, Syngenta engineered Posterity with an innovative active ingredient, which can provide up to 28 days of dollar spot control as well as robust control of spring dead spot and fairy ring. Designed for greater affinity to binding sites in the pathogen, Posterity provides more consistent control that superintendents need for these common but tough-to-control diseases.

Since being launched Aug.1, Posterity has been well received in the market as superintendents begin planning and making their fall applications.
