Shelby, NC Private Club Hires New Head Golf Professional

Shelby’s only private golf club, Cleveland Country Club, is excited to announce that Keith Williams will be joining the club as the new Head Golf Professional. In addition to a genuine passion for golf, Williams brings extensive instructional knowledge to his new role.

Originally from Georgetown, SC., Williams is a proud veteran of the US Army and served 12 years of active duty. Prior to joining the Cleveland Country Club team, Williams attended the Golfers Career College and served as an Assistant Golf Professional at Dolphin Head Golf Course in Hilton Head, SC., and at The Landings Club in Savannah, GA. Williams is certified by the United States Golfers Teaching Federation and is a member of the PGA Apprenticeship Program.

Located in Shelby, North Carolina, Cleveland Country Club is a full service, year-round, private country club featuring a challenging but fair 18-hole, par 72 golf course, seven Har-Tru and two hard tennis courts, an elegant, recently renovated clubhouse, and pool facilities that are to be renovated next. The club also offers a wide variety of instructional programs catering to all types of golfers.
