Robert Stevenson has been named Director of Golf at the Savannah Quarters Country Club. Stevenson is a PGA professional with more than 10 years experience in the golf industry. He earned his degree in professional golf management at Penn State.
He joins Savannah Quarters Country Club from their Medallist sister-course Tennessee National, and his golf management experience also includes roles as head golf professional at Shark’s Tooth Golf Club and golf professional at Medalist Golf Club.
Stevenson said he is “excited to continue the tradition of working with the strong Greg Norman brand at Savannah Quarters Country Club.”
Savannah Quarters features an 18-hole Greg Norman Signature course and is owned by the Greg Norman-joint venture, Medallist Developments. As Director of Golf, Stevenson will be responsible for overseeing and growing the golf program.
He will provide golf lessons and orchestrate merchandising in addition to coordinating tournaments and managing golf operations. He also will participate in community outreach and recruitment for golf tournaments and events.
