Rain Bird Golf Promotes Jeff Lawson To National Sales Manager For U.S. And Canada

Jeff Lawson is now the national sales manager for Rain Bird’s Golf Division. Lawson will be responsible for leading Rain Bird Golf’s sales and distribution teams in the U.S. and Canada with the ultimate goal of driving golf products and pump station sales in those countries.

Most recently, Lawson served as Rain Bird Golf’s western regional sales manager. During that time, Lawson built relationships with distributors and strengthened his sales team. Through his leadership, Rain Bird Golf won a number of key golf course renovation projects in the Western U.S.

Prior to joining Rain Bird, Lawson was the general manager and chief operating officer at a country club in Massachusetts, Lawson has also held several key leadership sales and marketing roles at technology-driven companies, including Progressive Technologies, Brooks Automation and Bose Corporation.

“Jeff learned the golf irrigation business very quickly after joining our team,” said Stuart Hackwell, director of Rain Bird’s Golf SBU. “He’s demonstrated an outstanding ability to lead his teams to greater levels of success during his relatively short time with Rain Bird. We look  forward to his continued leadership as we continue to strengthen our position in the golf market.”
