Primera Grows in Arizona! Announces New Member Chemtech Supply Inc. Joins Cooperative

PrimeraTurf Inc. announced Chemtech Supply Inc. as a new owner-distributor of Primera effective February 1, 2020. This company addition sets Primera’s current membership to 61 separate distribution companies strategically located in each of the top markets in North America.

Chemtech Supply is a family business that was organized in California in 1976, and after its owner, Jack McClure and his wife Judy moved to Arizona to raise their family, has been operating in the Arizona market since 1978. It has grown to be a well-known provider of fertilizers, chemicals, and pest control supplies. A stand-in professor at a local college, Jack McClure is the well-known face of the company due to the many educational opportunities he leads for industry professionals in the areas of entomology, weed control, and safe pesticide use. “Our company has modest beginnings; we started it in a bedroom office, with warehousing of only 700 square feet. Now we have over 12,000 square feet of warehouse in three cities: Mesa, Peoria, and Chino Valley/Prescott.

Chemtech Supply is owned locally by the McClure family, and we look forward to further strengthening our company as we continue to build upon strong relationships we already enjoy within the Primera Cooperative.”, said President Jack McClure.

“We are pleased to add Chemtech Supply to the Primera family. I have personally known Jack for many years, and I am confident that the addition of this outstanding company will aid Primera in building on our successful track record of growth. We look forward to partnering with Chemtech Supply Inc. and Jack McClure!” said Primera Chief Executive Officer Todd Ferguson.

Primera has over 60 member companies throughout the United States. For more information, contact Primera at (949) 337-0680 or go to www.primera.coop.
