Precision Laboratories releases Educational Soil Surfactant Guide for iBooks

Precision Laboratories, a leading provider of specialized chemistries for plants, seeds, soil and water, has introduced Soil Surfactants, an educational iBook available for free on the iBookstore for iPad.

Designed to educate professional turfgrass managers, Soil Surfactants brings water management to life using photos, videos, and information to describe that no conditions are the same for golf course superintendents and sports turf managers. Soil Surfactants provide detailed information and solutions for specific challenges faced on a daily basis.

“Research shows that soil surfactants are often misunderstood in the marketplace,” said Don Spier, vice president of turf and ornamentals at Precision Laboratories. “The approach with our Soil Surfactants iBook is to visually describe the benefits of soil surfactants in a new and unique way while highlighting the importance of hydration and infiltration for managing conditions.”

“When addressing water management, soil surfactants are rarely positioned as a solution,” said Spier. “Irrigation practices, pre-stressing plants for drought, and plant health are a few of the frequently discussed solutions. Our objective is to educate the market that soil surfactants are part of the solution when it comes to water management.”

Soil Surfactants is a free download on the iBookstore and is available for the iPad. To download, search for Soil Surfactants on the iBookstore.
