A long-awaited recently surfaced walking track is now attracting the local residents to exercise on an innovative walking track made from recycled Tennessee tires. The product Porous Pave has been installed in Trojan Park in Troy, Tennessee, to replace an old asphalt trail. The product is made from recycled Tennessee tires to give back new life to the track and the old tires.
The finished trail is a half-mile long and circles the park around ball fields, tennis courts, basketball court, and a community center. Covered pavilions with restrooms complement the setting. Porous Pave XL was not just a base hit for this path, the many features of the product will leave the community with a great product for years to come!
Walkers already using the trail are complimentary of the comfort of the resilient surfacing. The entire trail is handicapped accessible with rails being installed on inclines to assist walkers as needed.
Mayor Chappell stated. “Completion of the long-awaited walking is not just a home run, it is a grand slam for the residents of Troy and the surrounding community. We welcome visitors to come to view the trail if they are considering using Porous Pave in their community.”
