Golfers have played more than 30,000 rounds at Sunset Valley Golf Club during the 2019 season.
The Park District of Highland Park has named Ryan Ochs as the new Superintendent of Golf Course Grounds for Sunset Valley Golf Course, the district’s 18-hole course located at 1390 Sunset Road. Ochs’ responsibilities include golf course maintenance and he will directly supervise the Assistant Superintendent of Golf Course Grounds, Golf Course Mechanic, and seasonal golf maintenance staff.
Ochs has 13 years of experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance and administration. Before joining the Park District of Highland Park he worked for two years as the First Assistant Superintendent for the Ivanhoe Club located in Ivanhoe and previously was the First Assistant Superintendent for the Wynstone Golf Club located in Barrington for five years.

Ochs is also a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and the Midwest Association of Golf Course Superintendents (MAGCS).
