Oregon® Announces 120V Professional Series Cordless Equipment

Until now, battery technology has not been robust enough to serve the commercial landscaping market. That changes today with the announcement of the new Oregon® 120V Professional Series outdoor power equipment line. The series is engineered with significantly more power than comparable gas-fueled equipment to take landscaping crews to a whole new level of productivity.

In engineering these highly innovative products, Oregon® drew from its more than 70 years of experience helping outdoor professionals get their jobs done. Consolidating extensive input from commercial landscaping crews and experienced industry veterans, Oregon has created a suite of tools that meets a demanding set of requirements, including the power to match gas-fueled equipment, offer low noise and the ability to operate in any kind of weather.

“Oregon® has been serving lawn and landscape professionals for decades. We understand the need for cordless products that are powerful enough for heavy commercial work, but also enable crews to operate quietly and with more care for the environment,” said Josh Huffman, Business Segment Director, Outdoor Power Equipment for Oregon. “We’re confident that our new Oregon 120V Professional Series will help extend the work day, reduce down time and offer the professional grade reliability and durability needed to help our customers grow their businesses.”

The new Oregon® 120V Professional Series debuts with four pieces of equipment that offer a legitimate cordless alternative to commercial gas tools, delivering more power and torque for professional grade performance, noise reduction technology, and a low total cost of ownership.
