KemperSports, the Northbrook, Ill.-based golf management company contracted by Superior to take over management of the Nemadji Golf Course, has selected its general manager and superintendent to run the city-owned facility.
Tom Beaudry, a 26-year golf industry veteran, will serve as general manager, and Vince Dodge, with 35 years of experience, will become the new superintendent.
“Tom and Vince have deep golf industry expertise and understand the importance of creating the best guest experience,” said Steve Loomis, vice president of operations at KemperSports, which took over management of Nemadji Golf Course in November. “We are thrilled to welcome them to the Nemadji team and look forward to a successful season ahead with these two experts helping guide the property.”
Beaudry has been a member of the PGA of America for more than 20 years. He previously served as the general manager of the Wilderness at Fortune Bay and has been a KemperSports staffer for 10 years. During his career, Beaudry has received numerous accolades including Facility Promoter of the Year for the Minnesota PGA Section in 2012 and the Dakota Chapter of the Minnesota Section in 2004.
Dodge most recently served as the superintendent at the Wilderness at Fortune Bay. A KemperSports staffer for 17 years, he received his Golf Course Superintendents Association of America certification in 2001 and is a graduate of the turfgrass program at Penn State University.
