New Lincoln, Neb., Location for the Golf Course Builders Association of America (Oct 28)

October 28, 2014 – The Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) is moving to a new address, but will remain headquartered in Lincoln, Neb. The association’s new office is located at 6040 S. 58th St., Suite D, Lincoln, NE 68516.

“The move allows the GCBAA more functional office space to carry out current and new initiatives, along with better access to local venders for day-to-day operations,” said Justin Apel, GCBAA Executive Director. “Our members can expect even better support and communication moving forward thanks to our improved office space.”

With more than forty years of expertise in the golf business, the GCBAA was first established by nine aspiring industry members in Washington D.C. They believed in the future of golf course construction as a profession and saw growth in the industry. In 1971, GCBAA adopted its first bylaws and soon established the Executive Office in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. They relocated its headquarters to Lincoln in 2000.
