Naples Lakes Names Basso New General Manager & COO

Naples Lakes Country Club (www.napleslakesfl.com), the award-winning residential community that is home to Collier County’s only Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, has recently selected Joseph F. Basso as its new General Manager and COO.

The veteran of nearly four decades in the senior management of prominent clubs in the metropolitan areas of St. Louis, Missouri and Detroit, Michigan, Joe Basso joined Naples Lakes after a similar club leadership position at Delaire Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida.

The Michigan native is a graduate of The Hospitality School at Michigan State University and Fellow of the Club Management Association of America, attaining the Master Club Manager designation, currently one of only 23 club managers to hold that distinction and one of seven who are active club managers. He is a Florida certified Community Association Manager and a member of the Club Management Association of America for over 30 years. Basso has authored several industry publications, including An Anthology on Club Management.

In his new position as COO of Naples Lakes, Basso looks forward to working with HOA members and residents of the community’s 731 homeowners and area vendors.

Joining Basso on the Naples Lakes club management team is John Cook, the Club’s new HOA Manager. For the past seven years, John served as association manager at the 15-acre Shipps Landing, on nearby Marco Island. Rounding out the HOA team, Dali Capullo has assumed the role of Human Resources Manager. She has held positions in the accounting and HOA offices at Naples Lakes for the past 12 years.

Located at 4784 Naples Lakes Boulevard, Naples Lakes Country Club is a private 490-acre gated golf course and country club community where membership is included with every residence. Naples Lakes contains more than 200 acres of lakes and protected nature preserves, consistently earning designation as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, and is a participant in the highly respected Blue Zones healthy living project. At the heartbeat of the community is the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, the last course renovation reviewed by Arnold Palmer before his passing.
