Naples Lakes Named Top Golf Course in Collier County

The readers of Gulfshore Life Magazine recently named the Naples Lakes Country Club the top golf course in Collier County. The community also earned finalist honors for its tennis facility. The announcement was made in the magazine’s Best of the Gulfshore annual Readers’ Choice Awards competition.

Naples Lakes Course Superintendent Michael Wallace and his team are responsible for maintaining the course in its pristine condition. Added Mike, “Being selected as Collier County’s top golf course gives us continued joy and pride in our work.”

In January, the Naples Lakes Country Club earned high accolades with its ranking at #11 of the top golf courses in Florida. The rating was announced by Golf Advisor in its Best of 2018: Florida annual list, which names Florida’s top 30 golf courses.

Having recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of continued growth, Naples Lakes is Collier county’s only Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course. Last year’s $3.2 million “wall-to-wall” renovation not only added to the home values, but also enhanced the golfing lifestyle for the community’s very active residents. This was the last course renovation reviewed by Arnold Palmer before his passing. Improvements included enlarging and leveling all tee complexes, reshaping fairways, building new greens as well as expanding the practice facilities.

Naples Lakes Country Club features a year-round tennis program under the guidance of Naples Lakes Tennis Director, Rob Dameron. The five Har-Tru clay courts provide a superb program for the tennis program which has 160 active members. Outside tennis memberships are available on a limited basis. There are programs for every player from beginner to advanced, including clinics, lessons, mixers, tournaments, team tennis and exciting professional exhibitions.
