MTE Turf Equipment Solutions and G.C. Duke Win Top Honors from Jacobsen at the Golf Industry Show

Jacobsen®, a Textron Inc. company, recognized its top-performing dealers and salespeople during the Golf Industry Show in San Diego earlier this month.

G.C Duke Equipment was awarded the North American Dealer of the Year award, a Canadian dealer with nearly 65 years in the industry. Jacobsen’s Global Dealer of the Year award went MTE Turf Equipment Solutions, a Northeast-based dealer with over 50 years in the industry.

The two top honors are based on a dealer’s sales growth, market penetration, and market share.
Individual dealer salesperson awards went to Mark Casey of MTE Turf Equipment Inc., Josh Shull of Turfwerks (Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri), and Manny Cervantes of Kansas Golf & Turf (Kansas).

Malvese Equipment Company, Inc. (New York) was recognized for an impressive 90 years as a Jacobsen Dealer. Others recognized for their years of service as Jacobsen dealers were Steven Willand, Inc. (New Jersey) for 30 years, Luber Brothers (Texas and Oklahoma) for 20 years, Totem Equipment and Supply, Inc. (Alaska) for 15 years, and Burris Equipment Company (Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana) for 10 years.
In addition to years of service, Jacobsen also recognized dealers who excelled in Marketing and Customer Care. B. Hayman (Hawaii) took home the Customer Care award and TSP Turf (Carolinas) took home the Excellence in Marketing award.

Asia-Pacific (APAC) dealers recognized were Shriro Trading Vietnam Company (Vietnam) who won the APAC Dealer of the Year and ADE Turf Equipment (Australia) for the Customer Care award. Mikuni Shoko Company (Japan) won the APAC Excellence in Marketing award.

Asia-Pacific dealer salespeople who won individual awards include Ly Trieu Van ‘Vincent’ of Shriro Trading Vietnam Company (Vietnam) and Masakazu Tamura of Mikuni Corporation (Japan).

‘The dealer awards ceremony is always a special event for us and our dealer network,’ said Troy Murray, Director of Sales for Jacobsen. ‘Our dealers work so hard throughout the year and we look forward to recognizing those who have truly gone above and beyond for our customers.’
