Mike Klemme Launches Golf as Life: A Visionary Celebration of Golf Through Art and Stories

Acclaimed photographer Mike Klemme, renowned for capturing iconic images of courses around the globe, is proud to announce the debut of Golf as Life. This aspirational initiative will weave the timeless beauty of golf course photography with the personal stories of people whose lives have been shaped by the game.

At its heart, Golf as Life is about connection — to the game, to its breathtaking landscapes, and the people who find meaning in its challenges and triumphs. With over 40 years of experience photographing more than 1,800 courses, Klemme brings a unique perspective to this endeavor, offering a curated collection of large-format wall art, available for purchase at GolfasLife.com. A portion of Golf as Life sales will be donated to the National Golf Foundation to support the organization’s efforts to grow the game.

“I’ve dedicated my career to celebrating golf, from working with course architects to capturing the essence of premier layouts and resorts across the globe. Golf as Life is the culmination of that journey,” Klemme said. “This project is about promoting the game and connecting people to the passion it inspires.”

A Vision Beyond the Art

While the stunning wall art serves as the project’s foundation, Golf as Life will expand into a coffee table book, blending Klemme’s photography with inspiring and humorous stories from golfers of all walks of life. Whether recounting a thrilling round or heartfelt memories from a local muni, the stories will resonate with everyone.

“We all have a golf story,” Klemme added. “Golf as Life is about giving those stories a platform, whether they make you laugh, cry or inspire you to take that once in a lifetime trip with your buddies.”

What’s Next for Golf as Life

Golf as Life is more than a project — it’s the launch of a brand dedicated to celebrating the intersection of art and the sport’s universal values. The brand will roll out in phases:
●    January 2025: Official launch at PGA Merchandise Show
●    February 2025: Introduction of wall art prints
●    March 2025: Announcement of the coffee table book, including pre-order availability
Klemme envisions this initiative as a celebration of golf and its global community. “People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it,” he said. “And my ‘why’ has always been about promoting the game I love.”
