Legacy® Turf Plant Growth Regulator Receives New York Registration

Sepro's Legacy® Turf Plant Growth Regulator (PGR)

SePRO is pleased to announce that Legacy® Turf Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) received registration by the State of New York, including Long Island.

Legacy is the all-in-one PGR, providing unmatched turf growth regulation and extended control for up to 4-6 weeks across mixed turf stands. It is well known as a tool to improve turf quality, while reducing the “rebound effect”.

“For years, superintendents in the states surrounding New York have used Legacy as a key component of their turf management program. Courses in New York can now take advantage of the labor savings and turf quality benefits of Legacy”, says Joe Lynch, SePRO Regional Manager.

The addition of New York now provides golf course superintendents throughout the state a new solution to reduce clippings, mowing, and trimming on the entire course. In addition to use on greens, tees and fairways, Legacy can save time and labor on bunker faces and green surrounds.

Dr. Kyle Briscoe, SePRO Senior Technical Development Manager says, “Legacy continues to prove itself time and time again as a long-lasting and safe solution for turf growth regulation even in the heat of the summer.”

Legacy also recently received EPA approval on non-golf turf, including sports turf.

Legacy is available in a convenient 64 oz or 2.5 gallon package size. With the additional registration within New York, Legacy is approved for use in all states, except Alaska.
