LebanonTurf Introduces New Agronomic Program for Putting Greens

“True Performance” treatment plan combines slow-release granular and liquid foliar products

LebanonTurf, the industry-leading provider of innovative and high-performance plant nutrition for the golf and landscaping industries, has announced a brand new agronomic program designed specifically for golf course putting greens.

The “True Performance” program combines two of the most industry-respected brands from LebanonTurf, Country Club MD and Emerald Isle. Country Club MD granular products provide reliable, long-lasting nutrients to the turf, while Emerald Isle foliar products provide quick and effective nutrients and biostimulants that combat stresses such as drought and disease.

LebanonTurf used research from Purdue University and the University of Arkansas to develop a combined program approach that delivers season-long, high performing putting greens. The 2016 study tested six different season-long nutritional programs featuring Country Club MD and Emerald Isle Solutions to find the most effective program. The universities then measured the programs based on multiple indicators, including visual turf quality, canopy greenness, and stress tolerance.

“We know superintendents depend on LebanonTurf products to deliver results; it’s their livelihood,” said Chris Gray, golf channel manager at LebanonTurf. “With this program, we’re offering a proven strategy that will give them confidence in their putting greens, arguably the most important part of their course.”

The program is officially launching at the 2018 Golf Industry Show, February 7-8 in San Antonio. Superintendents can meet with product experts to learn more about the True Performance plan. Customers can also speak to their local distributor to learn more and purchase the program.

LebanonTurf is offering a 10 percent rebate for customers who purchase the products outlined in the program.
