Landscapes Golf Management Selected to Operate 2 New Clubs

Landscapes Golf Management has been selected to operate Coyote Crossing Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ind. and The Golf Club at Fox Acres in Red Feather Lakes, Colo.

For each long-term engagement, the company will manage business strategy and planning, golf course maintenance, clubhouse operations, marketing and sales, IT, staffing and training, food and beverage, merchandising, golf instruction and accounting.

At Coyote Crossing, Landscapes Golf Management is focused on training on-site leadership, leveraging the company’s purchasing power and boosting the club’s food-and-beverage operation.

Ranked among Indiana’s top-10 public golf courses, Coyote Crossing is 15 minutes from Purdue University, one hour northwest of Indianapolis and two hours south of Chicago.

Roughly six years ago, new ownership invested in bolstering Hale Irwin’s 6,839-yard, par-72, parkland-style layout celebrated for its “no-two-holes-are-the-same” reputation.  Five sets of tees make Coyote Crossing playable for high-handicappers while false fronts, meandering creek crossings, risk-reward approach options and fast-and-firm greens represent psychological tests for accomplished golfers.

At the semi-private Golf Club at Fox Acres, Landscapes Golf Management is focused on enhancing turf conditions, completing bunker renovations, increasing local memberships, daily-fee play, event and dining business, and evolving the club’s brand identity.

One hour northwest of Fort Collins and two hours north of Denver, Fox Acres sits at a dramatically scenic 8,300 feet above sea level.  Across nearly 6,500 yards, golfers face several elevation changes, dramatic rock outcroppings, 13 shimmering lakes and towering ponderosa pines, all positioned to challenge minds and sharpen games.  Holes are fittingly named “Moose Crossing,” “Sleeping Elephants,” “Black Bear” and “Fox Den.”

Fox Acres is situated within a community of over 100 residences and an almost equal number of undeveloped homesites.  There are eight two-plex lodging units and a well-designed “community building” for corporate retreats, stay-and-play buddy trips and other gatherings.

“The footprints of Fox Acres and Coyote Creek are outstanding, and their ownership groups are intent on delivering exceptional experiences,” says Tom Everett, President of Landscapes Golf Management.  “Our team brings specialized back-of-the-house and frontline business savvy, along with an authentic, personal touch, to these clubs to optimize their respective performance.”
