July 7, 2015 – John Crossley has been promoted to Irritrol marketing manager, as announced by Dan Winterton, director of Irrigation and Lighting Businesses for The Toro Company.
Crossley, who has been with The Toro Company since 2007, began as a Specification Sales Manager in Southern California. He was most recently promoted to Product Marketing Manager for Rain Master, Irritrol’s line of central control products, in 2013. “John’s work over the past two years as leader of product and marketing efforts for Rain Master has resulted in significant growth for the product line,” said Winterton. “His experience and achievements make him a great fit to lead Irritrol’s marketing efforts.”
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Crossley is the chairperson for the Toro Irrigation Business’ United Way Giving Campaign, and was instrumental in the creation of the freesprinklernozzles.com program in cooperation with water purveyors to offer rebates on Toro’s water-saving Precision™ irrigation products.
Crossley has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University in Long Beach, and an MBA from the University of California in Riverside. As marketing manager, Crossley will be responsible for managing the brand portfolio for Irritrol, which includes all products, promotions, pricing and distribution strategies.
