JCB North America Hosts Dealer Meeting, Recognizes Outstanding Dealer Achievements (Feb 9)

On January 21-23, 2015, JCB welcomed its dealer principals, field sales representatives and field service representatives from throughout North America to Savannah for a special business meeting called “Strive for 5 – Building Success Together.”

At the three-day event, JCB executives discussed the company’s global performance and offered updates on specific marketing, product support and manufacturing initiatives. Small group breakout sessions covered topics including Tier 4 product updates and global launches, special sales efforts and sales training. The meeting came to a close with a North American gala dinner and 2014 Dealer Awards ceremony at The Mansion in Savannah.

“This event gives us the chance to thank our outstanding dealers, our entire dealer family and all JCB employees who contributed to the successes we experienced in 2014,” said JCB North America’s President and CEO, Arjun Mirdha. “We’re pleased to share the company’s goals for the future while also celebrating our dealers’ many accomplishments.”

Following brief presentations from Mirdha and JCB, Inc. Chairman John Patterson, the dealer awards ceremony began, with the following dealers recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Century Award Winners (dealers selling 100 or more machines in 2014): Wajax JCB (Edmonton, AB); Cervus JCB (Edmonton, AB); YES JCB (Milwaukee, WI) and Liftech JCB (Syracuse, NY).

Dealers of Excellence (based on market share, retail performance, stock order efficiency, attachment sales and dealer rebranding): Liftech JCB (Syracuse, NY); Mackinnon JCB (Tampa, FL); AIS (Grand Rapids, MI); JCB of Alabama (Leeds, AL); Walsh JCB (Prospect, PA); YES JCB (Milwaukee, WI) and Harvey JCB (St. John’s, Newfoundland).

Superlative/Individual Dealer Awards (based on outstanding achievement in a particular category): Innovation in Marketing Strategy: Stephenson JCB (Harrisburg, PA); Spirit of JCB: JCB of Alabama (Leeds, AL); Fast Start Award: Moore JCB (Toronto, ON); Rookie of the Year, Agriculture: Reis JCB (Carp, ON); Rookie of the Year, Construction: Hy-Tek JCB (Columbus, OH); Customer Focus Champion: Sievers JCB (Hamel, IL); Facility of Distinction: YES JCB (Milwaukee, WI); Top Sales Performance, Agriculture: Dinkel’s JCB (Norfolk, NE); Top Sales Performance, Construction: Northland JCB (Wilmington, MA).
