Jacobsen to Serve North & Central Florida, Georgia and Alabama Customers Directly (Dec 10)

(December 10, 2014) – Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today it will be establishing direct distribution capabilities to serve customers in North & Central Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

The company believes it can better support customers in these regions by servicing them directly. Jacobsen will be increasing stocking levels in the Southeast and adding additional sales and service staff.

This change comes on the heels of Jacobsen recently establishing direct operations in the Western and Midwestern U.S., which has helped create success and stability for customers.

Jacobsen will serve as a full-service dealer that will serve hundreds of golf courses and sports fields in Florida, Georgia and Alabama, including such notable Jacobsen customers as Plantation Bay Country Club in Ormond Beach, the Golf Lodge at The Quarry in Naples and Daytona International Speedway.
