The cast aluminum base, rated at 40,000 PSI tensil strength, provides excellent support even in demanding applications while reducing overall weight significantly. Standard options include a heavy duty lock pin to help prevent despooling when reel is not in use and adjustable drag screw to help prevent backlash when operating.
