Harrell’s continues longstanding support of the GCSAA Foundation

Harrell’s LLC, a leading distributor of customized agronomic products for turfgrass since 1941, has donated $50,000 to the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America’s (GCSAA) philanthropic organization, the GCSAA Foundation, to support the pillars of education, research, advocacy and community outreach.

With this donation, Jack Harrell III continues the legacy of his father, Jack Harrell Jr., the late CEO and chairman of Harrell’s. Harrell’s began supporting the GCSAA Foundation in 2007.

“The ongoing support from Harrell’s has helped the GCSAA Foundation fund vital industry research, education, advocacy and more,” said GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “GCSAA is grateful for the continued generosity demonstrated by Harrell’s, which has helped to create an even brighter future for the game of golf.”

Harrell’s is recognized in the Star Club of donors in GCSAA’s Cumulative Giving Program, which includes donors who have given between $500,00 and $999,999 since 1987. The company is also a strong supporter of National Golf Day and the GCSAA Foundation’s annual silent auction. “Harrell’s is excited to continue the support of the GSCAA Foundation. My father started this back in 2007, and it is an honor to continue the legacy that he started,” Jack Harrell III said. “Harrell’s is committed to continually supporting the golf course industry, and we look forward to doing so for many years to follow. We appreciate everything that Rhett and his team does to support the members of the GSCAA.”
