Global Turf Equipment to host Live Online Auction of Over 150 Late-Model Machines

Global Turf Equipment (GTE) – the world’s largest independent seller and exporter of pre-owned golf course equipment – announces it will host a live online auction event to liquidate more than 150 late-model machines on Thursday, November 7 at 10 a.m. EST.

Global Turf Equipment has partnered with the Golf Marketplace (www.golfassetmarketplace.com) to market and manage this unique one-day event. To participate, buyers MUST register before November 7 at https://liveauction.golfassetmarketplace.com/xap-ga/control/newcustomer.

Available items include tractors, riding mowers, turf vehicles, sprayers and top dressers. All major brands are represented including Toro, Jacobsen, John Deere, Kubota, Club Car, Buffalo Turbine, Turfco, Tycrop, Agrimetal, Bush Hog, Cushman, EZGO, Foley, Graden, Lely, Massey-Ferguson, Neary, Redexim Vertidrain, Ryan, and Wiedenmann.

“We are excited to partner with an industry leader in Global Turf and to bring value to both GTE and members of the Golf Marketplace alike,” observed Dale Barger, president, Asset IQ – the holding company for Golf Marketplace. “The combination of GTE’s access to a base of high quality golf and turf assets, along with our marketing engine and auction platform, presents us with this unique opportunity to transform the way these assets are bought and sold.”

A large portion of the equipment is off-lease and single-owner, with machine hours as low as 219 and model years as recent as 2010. The auction value (based on OEM new prices) exceeds $2M USD, and will be sold to the highest bidder.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to purchase high-quality, low-hour, off-lease equipment from the industry’s most-trusted manufacturers at bargain prices,” says Jim Sartain, president, Global Turf Equipment. “A variety of helpful shipping and financing options will be available to make every transaction straightforward and stress-free.”

Serving golf facilities in more than 80 countries worldwide and all 50 U.S. states, GTE offers substantial cost savings to golf course owners, operators, and superintendents with late model alternatives to brand-new machines.

GTE’s 30,000 square-foot USA headquarters stocks more than 650 pieces of equipment, including fairway mowers, greens mowers, top dressers, turf aerators, sprayers, utility vehicles and more.
