Ewing Strengthens Golf Industry Support with 3 New Representatives

Ewing Irrigation and Landscape Supply is increasing its support of golf course industry professionals with the addition of three sales representatives in key markets in Texas and California.

Craig Allen, based out of Anaheim, Calif., will collaborate with Southern California golf courses using Hunter Golf products. Before joining Ewing, Craig worked as a metal fabricator for three years, and with Pro Ponds West for eight years with roles in installation, field maintenance and inside sales. He joined the Ewing Team in 2010, and will now focus on providing outstanding customer service to grow relationships with golf customers as a member of Ewing’s Golf Team.

In Texas, Mark Baughman and Richard Sorrells will provide service and support to golf course industry professionals.

Mark has more than two decades of experience in golf course construction and irrigation, and will service golf customers in the Houston area. He became a Texas licensed irrigator in 1985. He is an active participant in the Texas golf industry, having volunteered at 17 Houston Golf Association (HGA) events, three TOUR championships and 14 Shell Houston Open tournaments.

Richard will provide service and support solutions to golf industry professionals across Texas, and lead sales efforts in the San Antonio area. A Texas native, Richard has been working in the green industry since he was in high school, and later served as a service technician for AMC Industries from 1999-2016.

“Our team has more than 200 years of combined service in the golf industry, and that is reflected in our experience and training, and in how we assist golf industry professionals achieve their objectives,’ he said.

Becoming the go-to experts for golf course renovations Ewing provides a wide variety of brand products for the golf industry, including Hunter Golf, Capillary Concrete, Sandtrapper and Mirimichi Green. Ewing also provides HDPE fusion solutions and pump products from Munro.

Ewing’s Golf team is a highly experienced, exceptionally motivated, and educated group of individuals. Ewing’s Golf Team consists of 13 members who are supported by 200 (and growing) branches in 21 states.
