DENIOS Under Bench Cabinet Provides Safe Storage of Lithium-Ion Batteries

DENIOS introduces asecos under bench cabinets for the safe storage of undamaged lithium-ion batteries. They feature 90 minutes of fire protection from outside in or inside out, as well as a pressure relief valve that is normally closed but will open to release excess internal pressure should it build up. Robust construction includes tested liquid-tight spill sump (powder coated sheet steel) to contain leaks or burning or defective batteries. Oil-damped door closer and permanent self-closing doors ensure smooth, secure operation. Doors can be locked with a profile cylinder (closing system compatible) and feature a lock indicator (red/green). Each asecos under bench cabinet includes wheels for easy movement, and leveling feet for use on uneven floors. With a top shelf capacity of 55 pounds, and a bottom shelf capacity of 110 pounds, asecos under bench cabinets are ideal for storing a wide variety of lithium-ion batteries. Easily movable in an emergency – Designed to fit underneath a desk or workbench, this cabinet is mounted on wheels for quick and easy relocation. DENIOS strongly recommends placing it on the ground floor to ensure it can be rapidly evacuated in the event of an incident. Avoid placing the cabinet on elevated surfaces, as its weight makes it difficult to move safely.

Type tested fire resistance of 90 minutes (type 90) in accordance with DIN EN 14470-1, fires resistance of 90 minutes from inside to outside in accordance with DIN EN 1363-1 standard. Cabinets with similar fire-resistant construction have been tested to FM/UL/EN standards for flammable liquid storage
