Dempsey new greens superintendent at Portage Golf Club

The Portage Golf Club recently announced the hiring of Adam Dempsey as the club’s new greens superintendent. Portage Golf Club welcomes Adam to the staff and are excited about his turf/maintenance knowledge for years to come.

Some of Dempsey’s past work in the golf industry includes an internship at Minoqua Country Club and the job of assistant green superintendent at Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton. Dempsey most recently worked as the head greens superintendent at Old Hickory Golf Club in Beaver Dam.

Dempsey graduated from UW-Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in horticulture with an emphasis on landscape management.
