November 5, 2014 – Curtis Industries, LLC manufacturer of cab enclosures, attachments and accessories for compact vehicles, announces the release of its new replacement doors for the John Deer Gator factor cab.
The Curtis doors are durable, rust proof aluminum and offer the best solution to high-cost factory replacement doors. Reinforced door frame and high-quality door latch hardware provide strength in extreme conditions and rough terrain.
The doors are 70% less likely to break than the factory all-glass doors. Large shatter-resistant acrylic lower window panels reduce the risk of breakage especially when working in areas where flying debris, small stones, rocks, gravel and other hazards are common. Gas shocks provide smooth operation and protect door from swinging open in windy conditions.
The Curtis doors use the same latch and post as factory doors and install on 2004 and newer 620i, 625i, 825i, 850D and 855D Gators with a #4004 Deluxe Cab Frame. No modification is needed to the cab. Rubber seals around window and door ensure a tight seal and solid fit. The doors are perfect to add to an existing cab or as replacements for factory doors.
Both driver and passenger doors have window sliders to add cab ventilation while driving without risking damage or injury by driving with the doors open.
In addition to improved ventilation, the window sliders provide ‘pass through’ capability, allowing the operator to reach outside the cab without opening the door.
Doors are painted in a textured black that complements the vehicle. Handles and door latches are all steel for durability. Inside door pull bar with a grip handle release latch for easy open and close. Pin-hinged doors remove in seconds for ‘open air’ operation. Doors are lockable.
