Curtis Industries Announces the all New Cab System for the Club Car Carryall (Oct 6)

October 6, 2014 – Curtis Industries LLC, manufacturer of cab enclosures, attachments and accessories for compact vehicles, is proud to roll out the latest cab system for the Club Car Carryall. The cab fits the Carryall 300, 500, 550 and 700 models.

This cab features unmatched ergonomic design and the industry’s best ventilation. Constructed of commercial grade powder coated steel, the cab is 16% lighter than the factory cab for extended electrical vehicle range and better gas vehicle fuel economy.

The cab doors are standard automotive-style opening (hinged at the front) for easy entry and convenient access to the vehicle bed. The doors feature dual glass sliders in both the driver and passenger side for added air flow plus ‘pass through’ capability allowing the occupants to reach outside the cab without opening the door.

The doors are up to 75% more shatter resistant than all-glass doors. The door’s lower window panels are made of impact-resistant acrylic to reduce your risk of breakage especially when working in areas where small stones, sticks, gravel and other flying debris is common. The two-panel design also gives the driver added visibility on both sides of the vehicle.

“The engineering and design of this cab was based on voice of the customer feedback.” said Michael Alexander, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We haven’t compromised on any aspect of this cab.”

The Curtis Exclusive flip-up rear window opens fully for extraordinary ventilation. Just turn the inside latch and push-the window swings up 90 degrees and is supported by two gas shocks for ventilation and easy access to the vehicle bed. The hinged windshield opens 8″ and locks securely in place for added ventilation as you drive. The doors can be removed in minutes for warm weather applications.

For improved visibility the Curtis cab includes a standard front wiper that provides up to 20% more sweep coverage than the optional factory wiper.

“Our engineering team innovated great features into this cab,” added Alexander. “Compare this cab feature-for-feature on durability, ventilation and design, and you’ll find the Curtis cab is superior in every category. And the cab installs at least one hour quicker, and up to three hours or more according to dealer feedback. That’s a really big deal when the service and install shop is booked.”

The cab’s standard features include a fade-resistant white plastic roof, overhead storage net, headliner and front wiper. Tough and versatile, the cab is perfect for year-round work applications for schools, parks, resorts, municipalities, landscaping and other work sites.

Accessories are available such as an overhead console, dome light, roof-mount LED strobe and work lights, bed and flasher lights and side mirrors. The Curtis Carryall Cab is also available in a Driving Range version with steel mesh doors and durable acrylic windshield.
