Corbett To Head Up Technical Services For Expanding Prime Source Portfolio

Prime Source is pleased to announce that Bret Corbett has joined the team as Director of Technical Services. Corbett will be instrumental in working with universities and extension agencies in efforts to further develop and expand the Prime Source product portfolio.

“Bret is a great addition to the Prime Source team and his past work on protocols and with cooperatives in field trials will be a direct benefit to Prime Source,” states Keith Montgomery, Chief Business Development Officer.

Bret brings his recent experience with United Phosphorus, where he was in charge of field development for turf and ornamentals covering the continental US to Prime Source. He graduated from NC State with a bachelor’s degree in Crop Science, with an emphasis on turfgrass science and a Masters in Entomology, both his education and lifelong experience in the industry will be a great addition to Prime Source. “I can remember going with my dad to work on Saturdays when I was about 8 to Bayer in Clayton, North Carolina, and helping him weigh sand for different experiments. I think that’s what got me interested in this type of career. In middle school and high school, I dabbled in landscaping and lawn care work,” says Bret. During his undergraduate years, he worked for various golf courses and NC State practice facilities mowing and spraying greens, bringing additional working knowledge and understanding of the industry.

Bret resides in North Carolina and is engaged to his fiancée Shawnee Gundry. His hobbies include golfing, wakeboarding, and most any water sport. He will work out of the Middlesex, NC corporate headquarters. For more information on Prime Source and its products go to www.prime-sourcellc.com.
