Colin Igoe New Director of Golf at The Summit Club at Armonk

The new Summit Club at Armonk announced that PGA Professional Colin Igoe has been appointed as Director of Golf.  Igoe, who most recently was Director of Golf & Retail at Trump Golf Links Ferry Point in New York, has significant golf operations experience and possesses proven leadership skills in training and motivating staff while providing exceptional service in a welcoming environment.  Igoe assumes his new position at the club on March 8.

Igoe joined the Trump Golf Links Ferry Point staff in 2015 as Assistant Golf Professional and his  responsibilities included oversight of the golf shop, administration of tournaments and events, as well as ensuring a positive guest experience at the high-end golf facility.  As Head Golf Professional and then Director of Golf, in addition to being known as a top instructor, Igoe managed Ferry Point’s golf operations budgets, coordinated marketing and advertising strategies and media relations.

“The Summit Club at Armonk is fortunate to have Colin as our Director of Golf,” said Jeffrey B. Mendell, Managing Partner.  “He is talented, energetic, personable and enjoys a reputation as an exceptionally hands-on professional whose foremost concern is creating a relaxed and fun experience for all golfers.  He is a perfect fit for our vision here at The Summit Club.”
