Circling Raven Golf Club (Worley, ID) Names Don Rasmussen, PGA, as Director of Golf
Director of Golf Don Rasmussen, PGA, enters the 2025 golf season at award-winning Circling Raven Golf Club with the goal of making it the premier golf experience in the Northwest and beyond. “We get players from all over the country, and it’s my hope that when they go home, they can’t help but tell others about their incredible golf experience here.”
Recognized as a Golf Digest “Best Instructor” for Washington State from 2021 to 2024, Rasmussen was also named San Diego Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year in 2015. He has given over 60,000 golf lessons over his 35 years as a pro, and served as an NCAA Div. I Head Golf Coach for both Men’s and Women’s Golf Programs for several years.
Rasmussen was previously the Director of Instruction at Circling Raven. An Inland Northwest veteran golf operator, he cites customer service as the key to becoming a top golf venue nationally. “From the moment they drive down our driveway, they need to know how much they matter to us,” he said. “It’s not enough just to have an amazing golf course, we have to ensure they feel special when they visit Circling Raven.”
Along with Superintendent Kal Zaranec, Rasmussen is overseeing a sand bunker restoration program. Circling Raven has brought on a new fleet of golf carts this season. “This too speaks to our commitment to provide the highest level of customer service we can, assuring that a reliable and comfortable cart with GPS and other state-of-the-art features enables golfers to have a fulfilling round in every way.”
