Chick’s Irrigation Discusses The Hydra-Riser As A Solution To Common Topdressing Problems on Award-Winning Show

Chick Stewart, Inventor and Owner of Chick’s Irrigation, explained during an interview with Corporate Review, “I invented the Hydra-Riser as an affordable and practical solution to the problem of sunken sprinkler heads on golf courses and other managed grounds.” To learn more about this technology, tune in to Corporate Review on February 8, 2015 on Bloomberg International (as pd prog) at 7:30am GMT. Stewart adds, “Without our product, course managers regularly send out maintenance crews to raise sprinkler heads for safety and irrigation purposes. Our product ensures irrigation uniformity, which is essential for proper maintenance of managed fields, such as golf courses. This is the spray pattern that ensures full coverage and watering of the desired areas.”

The Hydra-Riser is an innovative irrigation sprinkler that has minimal labor costs and no maintenance or digging up for 15 to 25 years after installation, depending on topdressing practices. The sprinkler head in the Hydra-Riser lifts up four inches using a simple grease gun and replaces the need to periodically dig up and raise sprinkler heads.

Golf courses, city parks, recreation fields and other area benefit from the use of this invention that addresses the problem of a slow buildup of soil that covers sprinkler heads. The savings are substantial over the life of the field-tested units.

Josh Chanasyk, Product Technician for Chick’s Irrigation, concluded the interview by noting, “No golf course manager wants to spend time managing the sprinklers on their course. This is an especially significant factor during all-important tournaments. We eliminate the problem of sunken sprinkler heads that often slow down and stop tournament play. This is also a solution to the safety hazard presented by sunken sprinklers.”

The Vice President of Programming, JL Haber, adds the observation, “Our viewers turn to us for innovative solutions to common business issues. We love to present such innovative products, especially this one that will be appreciated by a large number of those responsible for managing grounds of all types.” Tune in to Corporate Review on February 8, 2015, on Bloomberg International (as pd prog) at 7:30 am GMT.
