CEO Peter Hill Named No. 4 “Most Powerful Person in Golf”

Peter Hill … Billy Casper Golf’s co-founder, CEO and Chairman … has risen to No. 4 on Golf Inc.’s international ranking of the “Most Powerful People in Golf,” joining Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player in the magazines’ “top five.” This marks the sixth consecutive year Hill has ranked Top 10 on the “Most Powerful” list.

Golf Inc. states: “Hill has led Billy Casper Golf to be the fastest-growing management company over the last two years. It added 14 properties in 2010, strengthening the Vienna, VA firm’s position as owner-operator with the second largest domestic portfolio and fourth-largest worldwide. Same-store, year-over-year data through July 30 showed courses had a 1.7 percent increase in daily-fee rounds, at a time when many courses were down. Buffalo Communications, the firm’s public relations and marketing division, recently added 15 clients, for a total of 56.”
