Broyhill launches a new line of battery-powered “Zero Emission” sprayers designed specifically for lawn care and golf courses.

Broyhill, a leader in innovative landscaping and turf maintenance equipment, has launched a new line of battery-powered “Zero Emission” sprayers designed specifically for lawn care and golf courses. The ES units, or “Electric Sprayers,” offer a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option for customers.

The ES-80 Sprayer, the first model in the ES line, features a roller pumping system with a Hypro 4001 XL-R pump that provides 9 gallons per minute at 100psi. It is powered by a 24-volt lithium-ion intelligent battery with a 3kWh nominal energy and an IP65 environmental protection rating. The ES-80 has an 80-gallon tank capacity, with other models available in 110 and 160 gallons.

What makes the ES-80 Sprayer stand out is its zero engine emissions, ensuring the safety of spray operators and the public. It also has a run time of 5-6 hours at 40psi spray pressure and a charge time of only 6 hours. The ES-80 is capable of continuous spraying for up to 5 ½ hours on a single charge, making it a highly efficient and reliable tool for lawn care and golf course maintenance.

Other Broyhill ES Sprayers can be equipped with a special centrifugal pump and a variable speed electric motor, providing precision control and versatility. The ES-80 Sprayer comes with a 10-foot boom with electric solenoid on/off control, and it is entirely self-contained, requiring no other power source.

In addition to the ES-80 Sprayer, Broyhill is introducing several other models with different tank capacities and specifications. The ES line includes the ES-80, 110, 160, LawnMate, and ProTech models. Each model is designed to offer the same zero-emission and battery-powered benefits as the ES-80, with different capabilities to meet the needs of various customers. The last two models could be delayed by supply issues.

“We are thrilled to introduce our new line of ES Sprayers,” said Craig Broyhill spokesperson. “We understand that customers are always looking for more sustainable options, and the ES Sprayers offer a high-quality, efficient, and eco-friendly solution for lawn care and golf course maintenance. With the ES-80 and our other models, we are confident that we can provide our customers with the tools they need to achieve their turf maintenance goals while also contributing to a cleaner environment.”

The ES-80 and the other models in the ES line are available soon from Broyhill, and they come with a one-year limited warranty. Customers can learn more about the ES Sprayers and place their orders by calling them at 800.228.1003 x134 or through Broyhill’s authorized dealers.
