BioRend and RootGuard available through Turf Asset (Apr 8)

April 8, 2015 – Agricultural Solutions has announced that Turf Asset will market their plant nutrition products, BioRend and RootGuard, for the golf and grounds markets.

“We’re delighted for the opportunity to help Agricultural Solutions sell a product line that offers turfgrass distribution such differentiation and economic value,” said Ned Herod of Turf Asset. “Agricultural Solutions’ products are exactly the types of technologies that Turf Asset enjoys working with; progressive, forward-thinking, and environmentally sustainable.”

Everett Hendrixon, national brand manager for Agricultural Solutions, said that many professional customers have already benefited from utilizing their innovative line of products that build and improve soils and the new relationship will expand awareness and distribution. “Ned Herod and Turf Asset have 30 years of experience within the turfgrass industry and Agricultural Solutions places great value on his supply chain relationships,” Hendrixson said.

Turf Asset will act as the sales and marketing intermediary for Agricultural Solutions products, including RootGuard and BioRend. The products harness the power of chitin to provide a soil conditioner (or amendment) that boosts soil and plant health. By introducing chitin into the soil, and manipulating chitinase levels, these products promote root expansion, microbial activity, nematode suppression, disease suppression and a host of other benefits.
